Hi,

What does the Mavic 2 pro base the RTH altitude on? The launch location altitude, or the sea level altitude?
Example: I launch from a location at 100M. I want to fly over a hill that has a 160M elevation. Adding 20M for safety would I set the RTH altitude at 80M or 180M?

I understand that the default is 150M, however is that Above Sea Level or above launch location?

Everything is based on where you took off from.

Hi, thanks for the inquiry. The RTH altitude is based on where the drone did take off. You may refer to the screenshot below for further details. Should you have further concerns, please keep us posted.

Thanks. After i posted i realized it wouldnt be based on sea level (slaps self). I guess its more of a question based on take off position altitude, or altitude based on flight location (ie, always staying 150M over current land position).
However, it seems based on the altitude from its launch location.

It is based on the elevation of the drone above the location from where it took off i.e. the homepoint.
