hello dear DJI products owners!
Yesterday we have visited Pafos (or Paphos) in Cyprus in order to video and photo two shipwrecks exist there and the Pafos port.
We are using the Amazing DJI MAVIC 2 PRO close to the golden hour of the day together with the DJI Smart controller which was actually the first flight used. Amazing, amazing & amazing .
Very difficult shots during video capturing, but soon I will post the video as well. The difficulty was when we were facing the sun and then when the sun was behind the drone. There the DJI GO app 4 assist a lot by adjusting the shutter speed and keeping the aperture at 4. More details when I will post the video.
As for the pictures you will find below, for those taken under daylight, I was shooting at ISO 100, aperture 4 and shutter speed 1/25 with sunny white balance. For those at the night I was having flurence white balance, aperture 2.8 and ISO 100 !!! yes Iso 100, i was really amazed.
Please allow me to provide some info of the places you will see below.
1. The Honduran-flagged M/V Demetrios II ran aground off Paphos Lighthouse on 23 March 1998 in heavy seas, during a voyage from Greece to Syria with a cargo of timber.
At the time of the accident, the ship had eight crew members - 4 Greeks, 2 Pakistanis, and 2 Syrians. The crew was rescued and airlifted to the safety of Paphos by a British military helicopter. It was subsequently confirmed in Lloyd's List that the competency certificates for the Greek captain and the Pakistani first officer were forgeries. The wreck can clearly be seen whilst traveling along the center of Paphos to Coral Bay Road.
The EDRO III is more than 80 meters (260 ft) in length, weighing about 2,300–2500 tons. The ship lies on the sea rocks at an angle of 11–12 degrees near the sea cave area. Together with Germany's CIMEXTA Vessel Salvage Company, the task of safe removal of all diesel, hydrocarbons and marine pollutants onboard the vessel, and making the hull watertight was awarded to a Cypriot marine salvage company. This was completed in October 2013. Due to the danger involved, nobody is allowed on the ship. Peyia Municipality which is the regional administrative authority where Edro III resides has mentioned that there were several studies and attempts to tow the shipwreck, all of which were abandoned due to the difficulty of the project. There are officially no current plans for its removal
And last two are from Pafos port.
