Hey folks,
I'm running into some tricky challenges with the Matrice 600 Pro I'm using. I fly the Matrice 600 Pro over forests for research, and am running into issues with the remote controller losing connection well before the 5km cutoff. Typically, the remote controller loses connection with the Matrice around 700m, and I need it to travel a distance of about 1km. The M600 Pro is pre-programmed to fly to various waypoints using the Onboard SDK, but often it's flight is interrupted and returns home because it's losing connection.
Are there any tips/tricks/solutions to boosting the range of the controller? I'm assuming my issue is because I'm taking off in a small forest clearing, and with ~30m tall trees, there is a lot of signal obstruction to the controller.
