I have recently learned that a license is required to operate a drone for Canadian Users. Any tips from pilots that already have the license?

Yep, and you need to pass a fairly difficult online exam to get the license. Forum member SCoutts explains it here:

Aquire basic knowledge and pass the exam, simple as that.

Watch some of the videos, Don Joyces' are good. Good luck, it is not so difficult!

I am like cocooned in this area where you can fly out about a 500m radius where there is no restrictions. I had to send it in for repairs anyways.
