Here's one I did last night with our house lit in the foreground.  This time I fixed the white balance to 3500 kelvin.



Just uploaded a quick test video of the Milky Way using the Osmo Action.  Settings in the video.



And here's a dusk til dawn version I shot last night.  I think the first one is better because the ferns give more context to the movement.  I slowed this one down 50%.

You are always going to be limited by sensor size. There are denoise programs out there that would work well with this type of footage though.
Personally, I think you did well as even using a DSLR with the exposure times needed to get the frame rate required would be tricky.
I couldn't show you footage I'd taken better than your own. So I don't take notice of those who won't or can't show their own efforts.
So it's a well done from me as I know the cost of equipment needed to get better results as I do a lot of low light photographic work.

Thanks, yes.  Totally dark where we live.  In the Marlborough Sounds in New Zealand.

Thanks!  Here's a quick test video using the same settings.  

I left the OA connected to an external battery and I left it outside for over 24 hours...by accident.   I split the video into 2 parts as the majority in the middle of the whole video is blown out.  Here's the 1st night's video.




In this 2nd night's video my son had jumped on the trampoline shortly after sunset which caused the camera to move although it gives a nice view once the driveway lights turn off.

Wow, 2nd one is great.  You have a lot more light pollution than we do here though.

Thanks again for the starting values.  I live in the foothills of Northern California.  We are at 353 meters / 1,158 ft elevation.  According to https://www.lightpollutionmap.info]lightpollutionmap.info[/url] we are at a 0.45 Value.  Not bad as we can barely see the milky way but as you get closer to Sacramento it disappears pretty quick.

Ha funny.  Me neither really, Iol.  

Im at this where i live in a "large" Danish town

Brightness 0.973 mcd/m2
Artif. bright.802 μcd/m2
Will have to drive about a hour away from here to get down to 0.2 mcd/m2
And i have flashlights that will just make that number go up so you would think " when did Danes start to test nukes on the surface" ..... well almost

Cool wit this map i have been wondering where to go for a dark place here as i prefer to sneak around in darkness and take pictures.

A full moon is a lot of light at night.
