So everytime I shoot video with my Spark it comes out choppy and blocky. The only response from DJI I got was to restart the camera system. Why are my videos coming out like this?

Is the video from the phone or from the SD card IN the Spark?

Yes this was taken off an SD card. The card was also formatted. This shows up on the screen as I'm recording too

But why is the video on you tube just in 720p?
The video on the SD in the Spark should have 1080p.
And I do not see a reason for you to convert it before the upload.

Absolutely correct. If I use the clips from my phones cache, they look exactly like this. The one recorded on the card is fine.

Hm, I'll dig a little deeper. This is all complicated without having a computer to pull the photos and videos

So have you downloaded the video via wifi from the Spark?
Connect spark with rc/device, click in the app, connected to the spark, on the gallery button , choose the file, download (will need some time) and check it  
I am really certain, you are complaining about the streamed 720p videos which are cached from the flight and on your device.
The videos on the Sparks SD card (you have one in there, do you?) are in FullHD, but also in better quality!

I thought you said this was from the SD card? I take the sd card out and put it in the computer and pretty much ignore the video on the phone.

If this IS from the SD card, I'd wonder about the speed of the SD card. Some SD cards are pretty lousy and can cause all sorts of strange behavior.

Because that is a downgraded (1080p to 720p)  stream, transported with wifi, which needs to be decoded on your device , to be shown live.

Which is a performance thing.

You are right. I have been using a Class 10 SD card with no problems whatsoever.

Weird. I have the LG stylo 4 which is a significant improvement from my last phone. I also bought a new SD card so hopefully that will.

The Stylo 4 has just 2GB of Ram, right?
Go to apkmirror and check out/change to the Go4 version 4.2.21!

I started my Spark experience with an LG G4, 2 years ago.
That was horrible! Didn't even work (stream) with otg.

And in the end, it just could be a interference in the wifi signal.
The stream goes first.
So try a different location, too.

I'll try downloading a different APK. I'm pretty sure it's not the signal because prior videos were like that. Even in more remote locations and in farmland with good satellites

An older apk doesn't need that much ram itself.
At least the 4.1.15 should get you somewhere.
Just with the otg it could need a specific sequence to get it "on":
1 . Plug cable in phone
2. Start RC
3. After Led is solid red, plug into RC
4.start Spark
