Thanks for sharing.  A nice tutorial covering the pertinent elements explained in a simple, common sense approach.  Well done.

Years ago, I was in the submarine service and the "periscope photographer," which presents many challenges for light, exposure, and periscope vibration.  Kodak taught the school.  They explained ASA/ISO as the ideal or "standard exposure" of a given film on a bright sunny day, which is f16.  Thus, on a f16 bright sunny day, standard exposure is 1/100 sec. for ASA 100; 1/400 sec. for ASA 400, etc.  Lower the f-stop for light less than a bright sunny day.  Always helped me quickly set the standard exposure for the lighting and ASA of the film (now digital sensors) and understanding just what the ASA and ISO numbers means.  Hopefully this will help others understand that ISO mystery.  It's basically the sensitivity of the film or digital sensor to light.  Follow Sethsg advice on using the histogram to fine tune for a proper exposure.

No I wouldn’t mind but how do I share it directly because it was published on a different website?

I have a question you said that if I let you post this on the front page of the forum you would give me 600 points and  I let you post this on the front page I have not received the 600 hundred points? (Just wondering)
