Another panoramic from Duxford Air Museum.
A few oldies here, plus Concorde, well worth a visit if you are interested in aircraft.

Great image.  It's a shame to see those extraordinary planes penned up like that - they should be free in the air!  (Obviously impossible of course).

Thank you, sure is. Hope you're having fun with your birds?
Been so long since I've flown, time to get the telescopes out; it's stargazing season now!

Thank you, agree, though insurance costs are I think part of the reason, there was a Vulcan flying, but maintenance and certification etc. Still a few Spitfires, Hurricanes etc flown for the shows, but few and far between.

Autumn has certainly arrived very quickly mate - take advantage when you can before the clocks go back next month and it will be dark at 4PM...

YES! For sure. Though the smell of the old aircraft in the restoration hangers, and being able to get up close is a great attraction too...sadly closed off on my visit. Thank you.

I cannot wait for the dark nights, time to get out my #BFS (Big Flippin Scope) and point it upwards....Winter is my favourite season!

Here with my observing buddy Sue (in her 70's and able to find the faintest of objects)

Nice pano! Wouldn't mind to visit a place like that! Side note: judging by your avatar, I guess you're into astronomy/stargazing as well?

Oh yes, Astronomy is my main hobby.
Have just three Messier Objects left to see, but need to head much further South to bag them.

And what an awesome hobby that is! Only three Messier objects left? Wow! My total count is 22 so far (from my light polluted backyard). Sweet looking frac further down in the thread by the way!

Thank you, the best investment in astronomy is either diesel or petrol to get away from the lights. Very, very fortunate that much of Norfolk is rural and less light polluted than many places. That 'frac is a beast to set up and get ready, but gives sweet views!
