I have been longing for testing D-Log again since I switched back to D-Cinelike last summer.
I just had to try it again on the .500 version of firmware since I have read that it should be better or improved now.

The settings for this one is D-log style 0 -1 -1. I choose 0 to see if it turns of the Noise reduction to not loose sharpness.
I also used a ND Polar pro filter to get as close to 60 FPS in Manual mode since I shot it in 4k 30FPS.

Just did some basic color correction (Davinci Resolve) and then added a LUT to it to get it to a normal level.
Added a little bit of sharpness in the end.

I used a sunny and bright day since from what I have read it´s good to over expose a tiny bit +3 --- +7 cause it's easier to lower highlights than raising shadows without artifacts.  

From what I can see on my screen (Youtube does this horrible conversion which in my oppinion makes it looks worse) it works great with log in good light situations.
In the scenes with the camera towards the sun the grass and trees are destroyed somehow or loose detail.

I also think there might be a problem with MP compared to MP2 (Z/Pro) if you compare bitrates.
D-Cinelike is more preferable if you don´t want to spend so much time in post.

Yes some features are just amazing on the MP, I really enjoy the Tripod mode and the course lock which I used for some parts here. Otherwise I like to do a lot of free styling, but these to are exeptional I would say.

There is a little "drift" on the course lock that I can¨t figure out to solve, I am aware of it so sometimes one have to do the same sequence twice.

aha that was new for me, you learn something everyday.

I have all DJI stuff that I have found, and you also get some for free with Davinci resolve, not all is usable based on that there is luts for S-log and some other formats.

I Don't know what software you use for editing but download some and try.
Some of them Will ”destroy” your footage but just keep searching until you find what you like.

Yes so did I but i like the whole process so im tourn. The MP might not be the best for log footage but for all My other stuff its perfect
