First post on here..
I attempted some filming of my partner (a musician) at a gig, trying various settings to experiment.
All video footage taken at 4K / 30fps seems ok, but anything taken at 4K / 50fps is inaudible - very muted and muffled.
Is this normal and just user error / inexperience of knowing best settings ?
I did not use any form of external or additional recording or microphone equipment.

Is it at all possible that you had your finger(s) over the mike(s) by chance when using 50fps (changed your grip after changing the settings)?  Have you been able to test further in front of a hifi or whatever?

I'm thinking the same as fansfe82067d.  Check to see if anything was covering or interfering with the mic to pick up audio.  I find that the Osmo Pocket has surprisingly good audio.
