I have a DJI Lightbridges mounted on Phantom 2s and both have the same problem: a solid red light on the air unit, no camera feed on my monitor and no telemetry. THE HDMI CABLE IS NOT THE PROBLEM. (Please excuse the emphasis, but this was the only guidance that my dealer was able to offer). I have tried three hdmi cables. What are other possible causes of a solid red light on the air unit other than a bad hdmi connection between the gopro and the unit?
All software on the ground units, air units, and Phantom are up to date.
My setup is:
Phantom 2
Zenmuse HD-3D
Gopro hero 3+ black
Futaba 14sb
I installed the system exactly as described in this video...
Two questions, have you set the video source in the Lightbridge App to HD/AV and what resolution are you running on the GoPro? Is that resolution one that Lightbridge supports? I have attached a list for your reference.
I have done all of the above and still no video feed.
i have a gopro hero 3 silver, DJI Phantom 2 and Lightbridge, with the new V2 remote with trainer port.
The controller works as normal but the only thing missing is the video downlink.
1. Is the video led on the air system red or green?
2. Make sure the format or your video is supported by the LB?
3. please select HDMI/AV in the video source and Realtime mode in the APP to see 4. All the firmware are up to date
4. All the fimware of LB are up to date
Unfortunately no matter what you do friend, apparently the DJI has launched a "bomb update", my 2 phantom with LB and GoPro 4 black were perfect until last week, so updated to latest version, in two days it stopped working with GoPro (only with goPro, with canon mark ii, sj4000, bluray player works perfectly).
it's the only way to sell the inspire one and the phantom 3 with 4K cameras.
i use products dji since the company started with drones, but now i am selling my phantoms and buying drones from a serious company.
Make sure all the firmware of LB are up to date, and try different HDMI cable to see
Besides, if there is another Gopro 3 or Gopro 4 you can have a try
if the issue still the same with another camera, please contact DJI support for repair your LB http://www.dji.com/support
Guys can you confirm it is possible to fix this issue?i have the same on GoPro 4 Hero and LB. For now i'm not able to do FW update as DJI software says it is 502 Bad Gateway
try yourself. http://login.dji-innovations.com/member/forget/en_US
P.S. all is good now, problem solved! But i still have the red light on the LB air unit.. bad luck. all FW are up to date, GoPro 4 HERO is good, cable is perfect.

I have been having this issue lately. All has worked fine with the lightbridge.
Hero 3 Black 1080 60 fps.
Now all of a sudden red video light. I switched the Hero to 1080 30fps and video is back.
Hopefully this stops bugging out on me and I can go back to recording at 60fps.
