Hi. So I used my osmo mobile 2 for different kind of footages and I noticed, that it doesn't compensate for my regular hand shakiness. Altough it does work, it stabilizes my video very good when i'm walking or running. I uploaded some examples to youtube to compare handheld smartphone and using dji osmo mobile 2.
So first, footage of me walking with a handheld smartphone: https://youtu.be/ySGS004ZPPE
Second, same path, only with osmo: https://youtu.be/DbUEFoq97rM
As you see, it does work, it stabilizes when walking.
But then we try to hold it in one spot (lock / no lock makes no difference)
Footage using a handheld phone: https://youtu.be/0qpzM-8yPS4
Footage using a phone in osmo: https://youtu.be/U8QByuVe00g
Shakiness is of a different kind, but it is present!
When you try to do smooth motions from one side to another, or rotating, or whatever, I see the shakiness and it exists and it makes the footage not smooth at ALL
Used it on different phones, result is the same. Cameras with OIS and without. Properly balanced, calibrated. The osmo is new basically, used it for an hour or two total. Firmware version in the image.
I've seen different footages using osmo mobile 2 on youtube, somewhere footage is super smooth, somewhere I see the same effects like in my case.
Is it supposed to be like in my case? If yes, well, I don't know, it has ONE job and it fails at it. How's that? If it's not supposed to be like that, what do I do?
