I tried these phones to activate Osmo Pocket.  None of them worked.

(both have 7.1 android)

Apple iPad (software v. 12.4.1)
Amazon Firetablet

I bought the iPad for my dji Spark (used for only the Spark)

Now I find out I have to buy another phone to make the Osmo work.

Wished I would have known none of my devices would work for the Osmo, and the Osmo does not work straight out of the box, otherwise would have never bought it.

So maybe other people can post what phones don't work before someone else buys the Osmo Pocket.  Just a heads up for future buyers.

The alternative strategy is to only use phones on the compatible list.  If you can find it.

What exactly is the point of this whole process?  Must be the only ‘camera’ where it is deemed necessary.
