Hi, I said I was compiling a video from scraps of old footage and here it is.
I hope you notice I carefully edited to create some sort of 'story' or logical visit to the island, rather than a random slide show. All clips are deliberately short.
There are three deliberate surprise clips to relieve the boredom.
The music was a challenge, but I think I picked a suitable tune to go with the shots. NB, all the sound is low volume and it is intentional.
If you happen to like my work, please share the link where ever you can to boost interest in the Island.
If any of you plan to visit, if you let me know, I would be pleased to meet you and show you around. There are countless places that tourists never get to see.
As a point of interest, outside each fort are information boards with aerial shots from the sea. They are from my collection and used by the Island Tourism Board

Have you ever wondered what the underside of a moving train looked like? The tunnel is proof that without GPS or downward vision sensors (The sand has no pattern) the drone is all over the place.
