I know - but 13 is late enough

iOS 13 crashes when DJI go 4 is opened on iPad Pro with 11 inch screen. Completely unusable at this time...

I guess it depends on your device - works perfectly for me on the iPhone Xs. I didn't think iOS 13 will apply to iPads as Apple are launching the new iPad OS 13 on the 24th?

You are correct AJ, iPad OS (iOS13) is to be released Tuesday Sept 24th. Prior posts with iPads perhaps talks about a beta version?  Personally I would never dare flying my drones with a beta OS.

You're correct.

iOS 13 is not publically available for the iPad (as of 22nd of Sept), which means they're running a beta, which is a bad idea for many reasons.

On the 24th (Tuesday), iOS 13.1 will be released for all iOS devices so that should fix the issue.

That said, for anyone who hasn't updated yet - there is no harm in waiting another week or so to see how others get on with iOS 13.1 + DJI GO 4.

Yeah, I'd never use a beta version with DJI drones.

if ios 13 isn't working for you, try reinstalling the dji go 4 app and trying a different cable. if still not working, well welcome to the reason people beta test time to report the issue.

dji go 4 in current state should work on ios 13 across all ranges of devices.  however this doesn't mean that dji go 4 is iOS 13 compliant as Apple has changed things with rendering, video transcoding, and general app language as well as file systems being used for apps.    if dji upgrades dji go 4 to be ios 13 compliant to the fullest should see a decrease in app size, a boost in throughput speed, launch speed and better app switching/multitasking compliance as apple changed how  multitasking works as well as maybe even HEVC real time video from the drone since all devices running iOS 13 will have hardware to encode and decode and transcode in real time, HEVC videos.

No I have had iOS 13 for a few weeks now and had no issue, I use an Xr

Been using IOS 13 beta and haven't had any problems flying my spark or mavic air.

Good to know - now on 13.1 of course - yet to test that

Got the iPad OS 13.1 on my iPad Mini 5 last night, today I did a quick test flight and everything seems to work properly.

Note: I did not try any of the flight modes.

Hi, I’m having problems with ios13 and DJI Go (zoom and recording buttons not working in an Osmo 2). I don’t even want to try my Mavic Air. Any new about DJI Go and DJI Go 4 apps?
