I went out this week to capture some pumpkin fields of the Durham region of southern Ontario. However I was too late... the harvest was already in. Many of these pumpkin fields are "Pick-Your-Own" patches for family enjoyment, but this year saw an end to recreational pumpkin picking in this region, and the harvest was gathered early. I managed to at least capture what looked like a quilters patchwork of harvested fields. It has a beautiful bucolic spendor of its own, so not all was lost.
