I have a problem of a whole bunch of tiny dead pixels on my Mavic 2 Pro camera sensor, and a huge white dead pixel.  Its hard to see them but there is a huge one in the middle of the sensor. I emailed support and they tell me this is normal.. So i Initially only sent pictures but my bad photo editing skills its hard to see the many (more than 5 dead pixels) on the pictures. But I also made a video here >   https://www.dropbox.com/s/7mj2pxb2abe527o/EDITD.mp4?dl=0  <

But one nearly in the center is there all the time, the others are not dead pixels those are probably stars or airplanes as they are apearing and disapearing.

Okay, so the customer support person I was in contact with through email instructed me to send in my drone for "testing and repair" my case request number is #2345769 .  I figured I would post my videos from drop box on here for any who cares to see what my problem is. Being that I mainly shoot video during the late evening for weddings or similar scenarios, it completely thrashes my footage. In full FOV 30fps mode and in +1 sharpness is when the dead pixels come through the low light noise and ruin my picture. Big one in the middle, one on the left, small cluster on the bottom right few other faint ones, like a dirty or bad sensor from the factory. Here are the vids and lastly pictures of my drone, as you can see in pristine condition. only seen a few flights. I wish I had kept my original mavic instead of the mavic 2 pro. Unacceptable for a Hasselblad camera.. For the videos I would download and then watch in full screen and in 4k. If you watch on the webplayer it defaults to 720p. So watch in 4k if possible. 720p will be blurry

Hello there. I had a similar problem with my Mavic 2 Pro when I first received it and I thought the same as you - dead pixels. But, I noticed that when I stopped using automatic mode in very low light settings, pre-dawn/post-dusk, that there was no white spot. I’m just curious, were you using auto camera mode in the examples?

Although it might be 'dead' or 'stuck', I see what could be one 'hot pixel' in middle of screen, most often apparent in lower light conditions. As the other brighter spots are moving they can't be associated with pixels on the chip and will be aircraft or other UFOs.

Try different manual settings if possible and see if any change occurs at that point. Almost all imaging chips would exhibit hot pixels to one degree or another in low light, but usually longer exposures. In the better DSLRs they are masked by taking a second 'dark' image which is then used to eliminate the hot spots. The small chips used in the DJI cameras are just not good in low light conditions.

Thank you for the patience, our engineers have checked the video and found the white dot doesn't stay in one fixed position. It should not be the dead pixel. You may refer to Aardvark's suggestion to adjust the settings, besides, please make sure your firmware if the latest version.

If you see my other videos. You will see the white dot in multiple videos. It is the camera. Also see my post here

YOU ARE FIXING THE WRONG PART.... NEED entire camera replacement... NOT the motherboard...
CAS-3566120-T7J0T9

If the DJI engineers say it's the core board module then it probably is.  To say it's the camera is probably wrong.  It's probably writing the information to the memory wrong.

On my Mavic 2 Pro with the Hasselblad camera i too am seeing stuck pixels in low light videos. It does not happen in Camera mode, only in Video mode (regardless of what setting i set the video recording too). I recorded a quick video and played it back and sure enough it was in the video. The drone has only been flown about a handful of times due to my schedule and has never been crashed. So is this the same issue mentioned earlier?

How easy of a fix was this and did it resolve the original problem you were having?

thanks in advance

Use a lint-free cloth when dusting a screen. Lint-free materials won’t collect a particle that can scratch the surface of your computer screen. but I visit the site who teach  how to fix stuck pixels
