I have started shooting Mavic 2 pro hyperlapses recently and noticed that stabilization done by DJI Go 4 app for output video (I don't know if app does it drone but it's definitely done post shoot) is much better than the stabilization I can achieve using FCPX when I make a sequence using images. Since the video I get from drone is 1080p, I can't really use it much as I want 4k footage.
My video settings are already 4k dlog-m but seems hyperlapse output isn't using it. Is there a way I can change settings to output 4k dlog-m hyperlapse video from drone?

It seems that we are stuck with 1920x1080 hyperlapse video unless you take 4k vid to start with and post process by speeding it up. You could of course just take timelapse and render it down to 4k post but I have'nt tried that yet.

I am confused by this suggestion... "render it down to 4k"??  Are you saying render the 1920x1080 video "down" to 4k?  In my understanding, that would be up-rendering it, which will not help the quality, nor will it become D-log.  If its shot only in 1080, that's as good as it can get. You can't turn 1080 footage into D-logM footage... doesnt work that way.
