Does Phantom 4 Pro or any DJI drones have RAM? How does it store the home point inside the drone?

Probably no RAM per se, but it does have internal firmware storage for that stuff

There is no RAM that you can access in the aircraft, but it is a silicon system on a chip that has RAM memory as part of its architechture.

Thank your for your responses. I found the answer to this. Aircraft and controller contentiously communicate and aircraft stores the home point inside its own storage device (SD card). That is how it return to home location once it has disconnected from main controller. These log files are stored as .DAT format and you can analyse these using https://app.airdata.com tool.

However, the drone has a specific black box that stores the data also as you mention above, the SD card holds other information such as flight records and other files. Hope this helps.
