I highly doubt that will be launched so soon the mavic 2 came out last year so if the above is going to be happen Dji might wait for another year to go by.

probably true, somebody just want attention, i guess, and i play his game, lol. wouldn't mind more responsive tracking etc, on the other hand, but still love the bird.

there's still one thing om my wishlist for future firmware updates, i alreday mentioned this here:
ability to program one button on controller, which would switch between video zrop mode, so you get kind of zoom on m2p, too.
true 4k and 60fps it's out of the question, i guess..

It does say concepted by at the top,  which would imply its just their guess at whats coming next.

too late Skydio is coming in Nov

Well, DJI better have a respond to Skydio 2 coming out this November. Skydio 2 looks like it will mop the floor with Mavic 2. Skydio 2 looks like it might be my first non-DJI drone

I preordered the Skydio 2, and this really looks like something that was thrown together  JUST  to beat that particular bird’s specs.  Maybe DJI was caught sleeping this time around.... exciting times nonetheless!  Also, mods may remove this thread since it names a certain upstart murican drone company in it.  They’ve removed a few already.

If a new bird is on its way then it might only be the Mavic Air V2 or Mavic Mini as peops are talking about either way I suspect the Mavic 2 might get a minor update maybe a camera update and the introduction of the ADS-B  transponder/transmitter so its is possible there will be an update!

I would buy a new Mavic with a better camera. Sounds like Mavic 2 was a bit of a letdown in terms of image quality. Im hoping DJI is releasing the Mavic 3 in January.

Most likely just a rumor since the zoom and m2pro are still pretty new.
