I didn't spend time flying properly to film, I didn't bother editing properly to make it nice, I just flew for fun.  I just got it so I need to know what it can do which is why I'm mega high up.  Flying low at 60mph+ would be insane.

I'm going to change the expo, sens, and gain settings to see next time.

I have but he kept the X5 for his Osmo and gave me the X3.  It says Inspire 1 Pro in the back and other identifications that it is indeed an Inspire 1 Pro.

Those were really nice videos, I have a couple that are similar, no edits just flying for fun and trying to get smne descent video but not making a point of being cinematic, just flying. Good job, really enjoyed them, thanks for sharing.

I've messed with the settings but didn't bother to make it cinematic yet.  I'm testing to see how 80 and 130 gains run.  Lowering brake to 70% stick filtering to 20% and yaw end point to 100 from 15 gimbal follow to off 0.25 0.20 0.25 on the expo made a big difference in control.  The hard part is the lag.

Don't get smart with me, Anthony! Inspire 1 Pro with X3 gimbal is like a BMW with a lawnmower engine, not the other way ... And she's only a bit beefier than Inspire 1, not a lot ... Invest in X5R and you could call her a PRO, but not now.

I meant in flight performance.  The NFZ restrictions are A lot less than they are with the later versions of DJI but the jello is more apparent than they are with the P4.  M2Z has Zero jello.
I've read the X5 is only 7 stops of HDR.  The new Skydio 2 is 14 stops.  I didn't get the Inspire 1 to film.  I got it to have fun.  

50° tilt is way better than how it is now but getting the Compass error. Exit GPS for 30 seconds when flying very hard in Atti was not comforting.

I might put it back as I just fly mainly in 3rd person.  It was flying like a fighter jet.  I never flew an Inspire 1 before other than 1 battery on the stock.  Stock is slow.

edit: kept 1 parameter the same and put back the 48° tilt on 1 instead of 35°.  I pretty much know all about the Inspires performance of how it was before, how it was yesterday, and how it's going to be when I test it again

The jello is eq. to the P4.  The camera always tilts when flying hard.  I got it mainly for bashing.   You can't eventually buy an Inspire 1 Pro/RAW/V2.0 anymore.  You can't even find the batteries.  Sure, when the batteries are cold it flies as fast as the Spark in Sport mode but the size is awesome.  A couple more tests and I'm going to amaze people all over the world w/ it.

M2Z footage quality is way smoother.  Smoother than the M2P.


I assume the dampening is too stiff because the gimbal mount rubber balls are designed for an X5/X5R not an X3.

Well, not up to my, somehow elevated standards. As much as a revolutionary concept, X5 was a flop from the very beginning in terms of H.264 video quality. Not in par with newest technology available at this moment.
