I reicieved a new DJI Spark and camera gimbal wouldn't work i.e. does not move as you move the wheel on the controller, it would not stabilize on launch, it would not keep in horizontal position as you move the drone around.
It sometimes shows gimbal hardware error on app launch, but not always.
I did compas and IMU calibration through the app.

Now, I actually found the way how to make it work: before launching the drone, I put camera in the down-looking slightly to the side position, with my hands.

I cannot send it back to DJI for maintanance for various reasons.

Anyone experienced anything similar before?
It does look like a hardware issue, but maybe anyone has any tips to fix it?

Hi,

That sounds like a loose cable in the gimbal assembly. If you are brave enough you can check and eventually fix that yourself, just do a search on Youtube.
I know, DJI doesn't recommend that, and your warranty will be lost after tinkering with it.
