• photo quality isn't too great far out
• video feed is garbage compared to the better drones

M2Z (Mavic 2 Zoom)
Pros

• Uses all 24mm
• sharp images
• great for inspections, the optical zoom makes it feel you are 10x closer and the image quality is sharp when observing material close by that other drones cannot reach
• faster and quicker than the M2P, does not tilt at high-speeds and quick maneuvers, insane range, works everytime
• long battery life
  

Cons

• Night time usage is pretty garbage due to the sensor size
• slow deployment, unfolding arms carefully and removing the gimbal cover
  

M2P (Mavic 2 Pro)
Pros

• 20MP 1"
• amazing night time image captures nearly every time, sits stiller than most drones
• best colors due to Hasselblad Natural Colour Solution
• long battery life
  

Cons

• can only do 4k30 not 60
• crops in than the other drones
• sharpness at range even at +3 is still not that great
• gimbal tilts at high-speeds and quick maneuvers
  

P4PV2.0 (Phantom 4 Pro V2.0)
Pros

• 20MP 1" Mechanical shutter
• Uses all 24mm
• C4K60
• Sharpness at range is always there
• best for mapping
• 2x Compass 2x IMU for reliability
• long battery life
  

Cons

• does not sit still most of the time, night shots at most of the time a miss
• have to install and remove 4 props prior to launch and packing
• takes a long time to get GPS lock, have to do the GPS process all over again when turning it off and back on
  

Inspire 1 Pro (X3)
Pros

• fastest drone DJI offers
• props don't come in at 60mph+ after it has stabilized
• it's size and look
• ability to mod the firmware to suit your needs above what was offered by DJI from the factory
• Option to swap to a Z3 and a thermal XT (Inspire 2 cannot do)
• very fast GPS lock
• amazing at long-range sweeping shots
  

Cons

• most susceptible to magnetic and compass interferences while in flight more than the later drones though it corrects itself in a few seconds or less
• 4 props to install and remove prior to launch
• low battery life

The smoothness of the Inspire 1 Pro (X3) watching it on the Note 10 after I modded the firmware is incredible!!!  DJI is incredible.  I still have my drone behavior back in 2013-2015 where I wanted to make my own to do this but I couldn't get the settings and hardware right so I gave up.

The newer versions have limits against breaking 500m but the older ones you can do it by changing a few parameters, it's just you would lose signal w/o some kind of booster.

The Inspire is just on another level.  I got it as a 3rd person quad but it's performance after turning the settings makes it more ideal than all the other drones I have in certain situations.
