DJI,

Just wondering if you can provide any additional insight into the 'leaked' photos on the internet regarding the 'DJI Mavic Mini'.  The leaked photos came out about 2 months ago but appears FCC's were completed yesterday.

The two FCC filings:

• FCC ID SS3-MT1SS51905
• FCC ID SS3-MR1SS51905
  

Rumors are the drone will be less than 250 grams?  Possably replacing the DJI SPARK line as I see your no longer selling the DJI SPARK on your STORE.  Appears to be an upgrade from the SPARK but not out performing the Mavic Air.  


Anyone care to comment?

Still early, as nothing is set in stone as of yet.  It looks like a shrunken Mavic 2 body.  I don't know if it will have a 2 axis or 3 axis gimbal.  That is the main thing I'm looking at for now.

Hello! He'd be happier if, DJI engineers will spend a little more time improving the firmware and software of the gorgeous Mavic Air. I think they can get better a bit more.

I think it will replace spark, I expect it will have a 3 axis gimbal similar to mavic air , it will shoot 4K 30fps 60fps 2.7k raw and jpeg, rumor has it it will fly 3.1 miles 5km it will have active track 3 obstacle avoidance 18/20 minutes flying time, it will come with RC and again rumor says it will sell for 399 and yes weight under limit for registration , it will fold to the size of your phone .

Looks like a toy. I will be dissapointed if this is all DJI has to offer for this season. Never-the-less, if it's not too expensive, I might get one to buzz around in my home.

I will be getting this for my wife, since she grew out of Tello and the Spark seems a bit of a hassle to carry around. If it arrives on time for Christmas she would be delighted

I don't care much about the rumoured specs, I just hope it turns out to be decent enough; and with that folded size, it will be our "EDC" drone...

Rumor has it the Mavic Mini should come in around $399 price tag (about £327 / AU$593).  If true, that would make it cheaper than the launch price of the Spark, which had a price tag of $499 / £519 / AU$859 when it arrived back in 2017.  The SPARK COMBO was approx. $699.00 (US) when initially launched in 2017.

Rumor has it the DJI Mavic Mini is being announced on Oct. 30th, 2019.  Any truth here as I signed up for the DJI News Letter but for some reason I'm not getting it?
