Why are you measuring dust? I always though people wanted to measure dust indoors and not outside?
Nice bird, i have one of those also

Nice.
Does the airflow interfere with the dust particles (hence influencing your measurements)?

Here in NL there is a huge debate about micro dust particles (outdoor) for sure!

Not sure how the airflow wouldn't impact the reading, as I've landed on dusty ground before and it makes a huge cloud.  But I can see there could be a real use for this,  in the UK its big business to have dust sensors around construction sites,  here's an example of a company doing it - https://www.dustscan.co.uk/

It's everywhere.
We don't see it (with our eyes) but it is a big problem in many places.

Hello. everyone.

These days, a big issue(outdoor) about micro dust in Korea. So, we are measuring the dust from the air. (several places ; Use the Way-point flight.)
The result was similar to fixed measurements. And We are saving all data to SD card in the measurement module. (Such as GPS Data, Dust value and etc.)

Finally, We wish this module interfaces with M2E. (Like  Beacon, Light and Speaker)

Are you hoping to sell your add-on to DJI?

The prop wash is below the bird, the sensor is on top. Not sure if movement along a path would affect the readings much, but seems likely readings would be taken at stationary points for repeatability? Another neat idea for drone use.
