Dear Sir,

I have just been experimenting with the panoramic mode on the DJI Mavic 2 and it has produced the same result every time. there is a diffuse line across the top third of the final picture. The first time I used Panoramic mode I did not save the JPEGs so cannot stitch them in Lightroom or Photoshop although when I have saved these programmes often seem unable to stich them together. The individual JPEGs do not have this diffused area. The Mavic is only 6 months old so presumably still under guarantee bit it strikes me this is  software failing. I have seen other people report this but not seen any solutions.

How can I solve the problem?

Regards,

Chris

Hi,
in the 360 Sphere (Pano) Mode it´s normally that there is that diffuse area at the top.
It results from the fact that the camera can not be put all the way up.

This is normal to be the result of the drone.
If you want something more, save the photos and process them on your computer.

I save the photos and process on my computer using free Microsoft Software called Image Composite Editor.

I shoot in Raw. Process the individual pictures in LR. Then I stich them using ICE (free program from Microsoft).

This is expected.
But you can use some editor to stretch the sky and fill the ugly part.
At least, that is how I do it.
Works pretty well.

or use photoshop on the original. Mark the area and push "delete". It will ask you for a "content aware fill". Use 100% fill. You get better results when doing this for small areas, bit by bit.
