DJI staff/mods, is there a technical reason you can't introduce the 48mp stills feature of the Zoom on the 2 Pro?

If not, can you please suggest this will be implemented in an update.

Its would be very useful for commercial applications.

Ps. Bearing in mind the native 20mp of the 2Pro a 40mp 'super resolution' would be more than welcome.

This would allow not only very large printing but significant cropping (zoom) with still adequate resolution.

Because you have to use an optical zoom that the Pro version does not have.

Technically while doing this M2Z way (4 shot panorama with zoom) would not be possible it could be done the way some cameras implement their pixel shift mode. Whether it's a good idea is the other question – it does not work good with anything that moves and you rarely capture a static scene with a drone.

BTW – this would not produce 40Mpix, but 80Mpix.

Pixel shifting is an expensive method, electronics wise.

You need optical zoom for this to have an effect.
Otherwise you just have a pano
