Interesting read about the state of the drone registration scheme in the UK.  One recommendation is that all drones are electronically visible within 2 years, and seems to include drones already sold.

These are only recommendations, still i wonder how making all drones electronically visible would come about ? Do you just attach some form of transponder to your Phantom 1 for example ? Would the extra weight not be an issue ?

I would think thats the only way to do it.  I wouldnt think a small radio beacon would need to be very big though.
