I put together a robust little rig using the ScottyMakesStuff full case with wireless module and controller wheel attachments, a "Newer" bracket from Amazon, and a PGYTech phone holder (which has a cold shoe on top for other attachments if you want).  This is a more robust setup than some, and you can just put it down standing up or lying down - the knurled ring on the full case helps protect the gimbal.  And when you're done shooting, you can attach the provided cap which is held in place by the knurled ring.  The full case gives a good grip and incorporates pipes for the audio.

Just posting in case the configuration looks useful to anyone else.

And now, I must stop buying accessories!

Alternative configuration with the screen in front of the camera.  You use the case as the grip and operate largely on the screen.  As before, very easy to put down, like any other camera really.
