I have a shoot at 7:30 am but it won't rain until around 12 pm.  The build could go all the way to 3 pm in which it will most likely rain.  I was thinking of sandwiching the umbrella on my backpack and me while I get some shots.  I don't need much but I need enough to make say a 3-minute video from start to finish.  If it gets wet a bit, is it ok?  I know DJI designs their quad motors to operate when wet w/o issue but are the gimbals the same design?

If worse comes to worst I will need a big transparent plastic bag to make a hole to film a bit in the open.

I'm going to use a 54 or 56" umbrella on my elbow/chest to see.

My Mavic Pro did great in the rain

It didn't rain as they finished early and the weather got pushed and didn't rain until after.  I got great footage.

Unfortunately, we do not have the cover or something like that to protect it, it would be better to avoid shooting in the rain.

Maybe you should a waterproof backpack. The leather and the zipper both are waterproof, but it is for Mavic 2 Pro and Mavic 2 Zoom.

I have the covers for them.  I don't film in the wet.
