Is there any way to get these working together?

On the FAQ for the S900 it says this:

What DJI products or accessories can I use with the S900 to make a complete aerial photography solution?
You can fly the S900 with the DJI A2 or WooKong-M flight controller, 2.4Ghz Bluetooth datalink, iOSD MARK II, DJI Lightbridge HD video downlink and Zenmuse Z15 gimbals to enjoy a total aerial photography solution.

But it seems not t be true, from what I have read you can't use the ground station 2.4Ghz with lightbridge because they interfere...

DJI does not recommend using the Lightbridge and the Data Link together.  The Lightbridge is blasting video at 2.4gHz and that could interfere with your mission or any changes in your mission.  You can do it.  But we do not recommend it.  Marketing sometimes gets ahead of R&D and real world experience.  Sorry for the confusion.

Is this still true? Anyone with real world experience? It seems if GS flights are necessary, this would merit staying with 5.8 video for now.

Sorry but nothing has changed.. You could always go with the 900Mhz data radio.

And, If you only have a 2.4GHz data  radio, you can turn off the data radio after you have set down the waypoint, and let the LB work only during the flight.
