Hey folks,

My Spark was stopped for a little while, 8 months to be precise, and I came back home last week and tried to turn it on but I could not fly. I had somebody charging the batteries to avoid damages, but the person could not use the aircraft.
There was a message on the phone screen saying "Main Controller Data Error". I noticed the fan is not starting when I turn the Spark on and it is getting hot as it didn't before.
This makes me to conclude: as the fan does not work, the main board overheat and this message is shown.
I made the factory reset 3x and downgrade to a previous firmware and it is still the same.


has anyone faced this problem before? how to fix?

Could something (dust or other) keep the fan from starting?

You may try to update the IMU of the aircraft to see if the problem persists. Also, please make sure that you are currently using an updated version of the application. Please keep us posted. Since the warranty is gone, anyway, take a look under the "hood".
Perhaps something is blocking the fan?
