"I am profesional photofrapher since 20 years" - this explains a lot, as your HDR panorama (2nd pic) is probably one of the best photos I've seen here. Amazing work! Please keep posting more. Do you mind if I ask you (as a beginner) what camera settings you used? And how long did it take to edit your photo? It looks unbelievably good. I also own Mavic Air but I am not even close do capture anything like that :O
Thanks a lot
Believe me or not I still use Auto settings when taking the photos. Still working with my pilot skills and 20min in the air is short time for me to experiment. This is how I do it:
- I use RAW only
- When you are up in the air first you choose the location, motive and plan composition.
- Use HDR mode when taking the photos. Choose best possible light, not to bright or to dark. Camera will later overexpose and underexpose same motive. Lock your camera preferences during the time.
- I have visible 3/4 rules at my screen to help me when composing and taking photos.
- Sometimes I take 2 or 3 vertical photos depending on view. Use only gimbal for up and down. If two vertical photos camera would take 6 phots for example.
- Then you turn to the left or right depending on your plan and repeat the same as previous.
- Use horizon to decide how much you want from above and below and follow the same rule to whole panorama.
- I use Lightroom to crate HDR panorama. It work nice for me most of the time. They are probably other apps too.
- When your panorama is ready Lightroom will create RAW dng file for you to play.
- Then I use Photoshop as well to fix small problems depending of motive.
I hope this help |
