Taking a look at the accessories, the "Charging Base" looks very interesting!

Snapped one up (Fly More Combo with DJI Refresh). Purchase confirmed. Now the wait for shipping and delivery. Will make a nice compliment to my MA.

Looks nice, but too many compromises to pull me from my Spark and not sure it would be a forward step.

Think I'll save up for the MP2 (or 3) instead, but hope early adopters enjoy the Mini

I was thinking more in terms of creativity and control of output. Yes, 30mins is great, but I have 6 batteries  and I'm happy with the flight time I have. It's not a good enough reason to upgrade, for my needs anyway.

I doubt that they'll include the Mavic Mini in the Black Friday sales considering how new of a product it would be. There usually has to be 6 months before they're willing to give discounts. Furthermore, the product is being shipping on the 11th and the fly more kit won't be shipped until Black Friday, so that makes the possibility of a black friday sale even less.

I highly doubt that, they rarely add new funtions like that after the release... if it was meant to be there, it would have it already.

I see. Considering now the real safe flight time is more like 20 minutes anyway.

I'm still hopeful though... they have added manual control of shutter/iso after release in the past (osmo pocket) so maybe they'll do that at least.
