With the Ronin-SC having the Axis Locks as a body feature, would there be a new Ronin-S with added Axis Locks launched? DJI has released all the software upgrade needed to match up Ronin-S with the Ronin-SC. But its not complete until Axis Lock is given too!

That will depend on many things.
One of them being customers buying the gimbal.
If many do, there will be more reason to make a second version of the 'S'.

That is a good idea while travelling. But to make the balancing process faster and lock it after balancing and use it later, having axis locks helps a lot! After the launch of SC, DJI has become very silent about gimbals. It is hard to expect them to release another.

That is true. It would have been a good launch if they had coupled the launch of Ronin-SC and a new Ronin-S with axis locks. But, things don't always turnout as we expect them to..!

With DJI (most tech companies) I find that they usually focus on developing new stuff, rather than upgrading old stuff.
Only very few will keep updating older products for a longer period of time.
At least with stuff that is not considered a 'bug' or major flaw.
