Just wanted to share this video that started quite ideally, but unfortunately ended fatally..
The drone crashed into a tree and fell into a river. I was able to recover it but according to Dji it was a total loss - so I had to buy a new one.
Expencive way of getting experience..

It actually recorded about 3 minutes after submerging. Although this was crystal clear, clean mountain water, the drone had to be replaced. I'll try to fly more safely from now on..

Because aircraft consists of a large quantity of sensitive electrical components, after it is water damaged, electrical components may be corroded, thus affecting its stability and security. Through the related tests, the repair of water damaged units needs to replace all the relevant components, and it is possible that the cost of repairing a water damaged drone is far higher than buying a new drone. Therefore, we advise that water damaged units are ineligible for repair service. Thanks for your understanding and cooperation.

That's a sweet looking Drone - but, I think I'll stay with my MavicAir for now, and just be more careful not to crash into a tree

Exactly. That is amazing!!! I am impressed. And that was under water. WOW!

Sorry about what happened to you. Did you have the obstacle avoidance system turned off? Always have it on when flying in such places. It works very well! It might not save your drone from lateral collisions but it does prevent crashes in most cases.

That will never happen to me/my MA.

The obstacle avoidance system was on, but the branches that I hit was probably too small, and came from an odd angle.. I have been in other small crashes where the same things happen. The system cannot see the small branches or wires for that sake.

Good on you for owning your error and learning from it.  It happens to most if not all of us at some point.
