46.8 km/h, 3000m, 4km video range (MT1SS5 model by the looks, FCC version, not Eu version). Also higher if you change props to compensate for altitude (more pitch or 3 or 4 blade or both).

3000 m is 9842.51969 feet , 1.86411358 miles. DJI gonna let it fly that high ?

4k depends on if the cpu/processor can handle it. My guess is it probably can. We’ll know when someone tears it down what processor inside.

If 4K was enabled it would compete with their more expensive drones.

I fly almost always without.
Better: Can't recall, when I last had it on.

Totally agree. Obstacle sensor are for risky shots. If you are filming or taking shots of landscapes you don't really needed them. But wind resistance is a must.

No It's not. Smart controller ir for Occusync 2.0 only. The Mavic Mini is wifi controlled.

I have the same question but I think not. The ap to control the Mini is not DJIGo4 (which is Occusync compatible) but DJI fly. As far as I can tell the SC doen't support DJIfly.
Be nice if it DID though.

The device is missing features, but DJI need to do that to distinguish from the Air.  If if had everything that people here have asked for, the same price, then the Air would lose sales.   It makes sense what they have done and although I will miss things like panorama shots and Active Track, for the most part, this is a great upgrade from the spark.   

The supplied case looks really nice.

I wonder if it can be flown with the Spark's R/C? DJI anyone?

If you fly for 24 minutes you should be able to land with 20% battery left which is better than running the battery to 0%.

Judging by the weight I'd not pull it out at all in strong wind!

A couple of the youtube reviewers had them up in 20mph wind and they said it was OK.

The prop guards are to compensate for the obstacle avoidance.
Given that this is sold as an 'Entry Level' drone, we'll most likely see 'beginners' adopting it ... i.e., people who are likely to bump into things.

Nope... as far as I can tell it only has downward sensors.

While I literally hated the Spark for everything, I have purchased this little guy as a complement to my Mavic. The price is very good, and its features are pretty awesome.

2.7K is perfectly fine for video footage and guarantee that in the hands of someone who is good at video/photography, the final result will be outstanding. For what most people are using those drones for, and where those videos are presented (iE: YouTube), I'm sure that we will see amazing footages.

The size and weight is pretty awesome for flying pretty much anywhere.

Personally, I could care less about obstacle avoidance sensors. Never had to rely on sensors on my Mavic. If you can't keep your bird in the sky by using the camera, you shouldn't be in the sky in the first place.
Nor do I care about "Wind resistance". If it's too windy, don't fly. Pretty simple.

Looking forward to try it out!

Impressive machine. I wish I could carry one of these for sporadic shots, but since I need to file a image capture request a week in advance here in Portugal sporadic shots are out of question. For now I'll wait to see how the legislation moves forward.

Great work on the accessories as well. The dome charger looks great, almost want one just for it. :p

in the FAQ section, all the details are described in sufficient detail - it must withstand 8 meters per second, i.e. a quarter worse than the Mavik Pro and two times worse than the Mavik 2. The camera here could be better

I’m sure that there will be a continuation (Mavik Mini S ?) with a camera, for example from iPhone X - the weight allows. And he will really be a hit. For which it will not be a pity to pay heavy money

Put a 4k camera on it , then it is a perfect small drone.
