He says that it could be the height why drone keeps coming down. I guess dji should investigate and do some tests.
I am not sure if you and how to callibrate imu andcompass, like you fo with the other drones. I have ordered the mini , but i was a little bit too lazy to do some pre examination.

DJI drones that are given to reviewers are beta versions as stated in the video. the drop could be caused by the high elevation. I’m sure after a few updates the mini will be rock solid..

Does anyone know, how high the elevation level was, where the Mini had trouble and got lost for a while? I did not hear that in the video. Did I miss it?

Yeah but will only buy when i land in NZ, would be cheaper there plus i can get Dji Care there, in RSA there is nothing of Dji Care

True, he did mention that after getting home he never had the issue again so it must have been the high elevation

But still, that some hundred meterd under the 3000m, DJI is saying the Mini can handle.
Who is going to test that out? ;-)

Ya, hope so

I guess thats why DJI limit take off altitude to 3000m because the air is to think for it.
