I’m not questioning the serviceability of DJI gear, I still fly my Phantom that I purchased back in 2012. But DJI generally do not actively support a Product for more than 12months..
Example. I purchased a priece of DJI equipment, it had only been on the market for four months before they released an update that grounded mine, and many other customers systems. A few months of pleading with tech support to release a fix resulted in DJI dropping all support for said system and telling customers to invest in its replacement which was nearly 10 times the cost of the original system.
