I was looking for a specific photo I took a while back and seem to have misplaced it. I decided to extract a similar image from 4K video. It needed a lot of cropping and after adjusting brightness and colour because it was shot in low light and it was quite misty. This is the result.
OK, there is a lot of noise in the image, but if you are looking at it on your phone, tablet or uncalibrated monitor, I doubt it matters. It dosn't to me.
Anyway, have a look at frames in your old videos, you might get some brilliant stills from them.

Yeah, those frame grabs have little information to work with (unfortunately).
Very high on compression.
But sometimes you have to work with what you have
