DJI mavic mini, DJI fly app also works on the DJI spark. If you are here to watch the Spark fly on the new DJI Fly App skip to minutes into the video from there it is about 5 to 6 minutes of spark Flying on the new App. I will tell you that Features in the app was unlocked using the Spark that is not available in the Mavic Mini.

I was able to connect to my Mavic Pro to the Fly app. I even had a radar looking icon in the lower center showing the sensors. I could check setting and see it knew it was a Mavic Pro. I got really excited to take a video to post it. I shut down the app and started my screen record. Now I get an error its not supported. Bummer.  I am guessing they may merge the apps with time.

I have the bad feeling, DJI has made "a sister-app" to the Mod 2.0 The DJI fly download from DJI will install as an update to it.
And playstore also wants to open (!) the mod 2.0. (Instead of the downloading option)


That would explain, why the fly works on the spark, methinks.
Perhaps the mod 2.0 works on the mini?

Anyone can test that, please?

Downloaded the Fly app, connected to my Mavic 2 Pro using the Fly app, surprised to find it worked. The more advanced features of the M2P were there in the app, and controllable within the app.

I have n't tried flying using the Fly app due to the weather.

I think the Fly app contains all the software to display all the capabilities of which ever aircraft is connected.

No doubt DJI will provide details in the near future as wether this is a replacement for the Go4 app.
