I'm excited about this one - DJI 'leaked' to me that they are hoping to release Team Play Mode in December!

If so, nice xmas gift!  I'll bet that will stimulate sales too.

This will unlock the use of Bases (electronic drop targets are fun) and makes the Autonomous Sentry Programs a key part of the action.

You can expect I will clear out the massive conference room and put up a bunch of pink foam obstacles and ramps.  Fun!

So post up - can everybody clear this date for RMS1 fun?

Definitely looking forward to the Team Play Mode!
For our Tournament 0 event on Sunday, we will be running kind of a Team Play mode. I'll be asking the robots in a Free-for-All match to sport a small flag on one if the RMS1's antennas so that teammates can recognize each other. Then, at the end of a match, we will tally team scores by hand. We will use automatic reset targets at each of the two team bases.

I might be able to go this time.

Quick update - all is well for our meetup.  The more the merrier, collect S1 pilots and bring them!

I did the update and checked out Conquest Mode - it looks great!  

Should be really fun if the network connections hold up for everyone!

DJI - next update PLEASE we need to be able to CHOOSE our TEAM COLORS!!  Thanks!

Ok, so this time I will arrange for Security to check everyone in through this main entrance and escort everyone to the Marco Polo conference room.

Should be no problems with this, it's a short walk, we can all carry our stuff from those parking spots.

I am asking everyone to be there no later than 11am - but if you can come early please do!

I will be there around 9:30am setting up obstacles and the router.

Please hang out as best you can!

I hope to get in a few round of Conquest Mode - with the drop-down targets it should be a hoot!

Let's take our time and get out of it what we can - the next meetup probably won't be until May!

Well that was fun, but only two of the seven invitees showed up.  So the 3 of us ran some experiments and played the battle game a couple times.

We found a nasty bug in the Intercom feature.

Try it - there is a tap button on the right, center of your screen in Solo Mode.

Try recording a sound clip and play it back - MASSIVE DISTORTION, pretty much just noise.

Unless we get more S1 pilots, I'm not inclined to set up another event.  If I do, it will managed very differently to ensure show-ups.
