For those of you who have been flying the Mavic Mini and taking 2.7k 30fps footage, what do you guys recommend for color correction, etc. in post. I've already noticed that putting the EV at around -1.0 looks best when shooting the footage, but I still haven't gotten a feel for editing (partly because I haven't gone in and played around with editing yet) apart from taking the footage down to 80% speed for a more cinematic feel.

Thoughts?

Agreed,
It´s actually becoming a standard for many profesional, it allows you to do many things within one software and with a comprehensive workflow.
Best of all is free and there are many tutorials around.

This youtube should get you started -

If your just starting off editing, try iMovie it’s pretty good and it’s free if you want to upgrade from that try FCP X.

I may use the MINI to jump in to Davinci Resolve... currently working in Vegas Pro, but the color grading is just a pain there.

ABsolutely, already making some tutorials... looks promising!

-1 works good indeed (at least on my Mavic Pro it does)
You probably want to reduce some of the contrast before you move on with colour correcting.

I've got final cut pro x and I'm working with that at the moment! Definitely get the student bundle if you're a student. Makes it super cheap

I'm glad Apple hasn't made these programs a subscription. One time fee is nice

IMHO FCPX is great easily usable for newbies and not to difficult to learn as you go. And yes the once off sub is great .

If youve got FCPX your better off learning that,  its more optimised for Apple hardware than any other program.
