Looking for help please..today after 3 years i lost my phantom 4 pro! I did the lost my drone thing on the app and i can see where it was last seen but i still cant find it.im using a samsung s9 as the screen attached to controller..

Where the drone was last recorded by the app is only a useful search point if that's where teh drone landed.
But if the drone was last recorded still flying, it's ended up somewhere else.
To get an idea of what happened to it, we'll need to see the recorded flight data.
If you can post the .txt file someone might be able to help you.

Hi thanks for the info i will get that uploaded.. i dont think it landed! Im sure i hit a tree as my screen just said connection lost and didnt return as sometimes might happen if too far away. I was very far away so im fairly certain i would have flown into a high tree.

I think ya prob right about hitting something, the drone was 60m above take off point at the time of lost communications
The ground at the Rock of Cashel is nearly 40m  above the lower ground from your direction, at around 129m asl.
The area of lost contact was 112m asl,  this is just speculation based you taking off lower than the castle grounds.
So in your search area, dont base your search on high trees as you have indicated, you really need to look at all objects
in that area as they all would be high relative to your take off position.

Also take into consideration that it may not have hit something initially, going behind the castle would have caused it to lose contactTherefore it may have travelled a little furth along that trajectory befroe initiating the lost contact senario, RTH, Hover or land

PS, i dont know castle or area, i notices you was in Ireland, so i did a search of Irish castles and found it that way, i then used this site
to find the height of the corresponding areas.

Bear in mind that it may have even been picked up....

how steep is that hill, I'd be hiking up and down searching, checking trees, and the rocks if possible.

Oh dear! - It's probably stuck in a tree behind the castle - what was your selected RTH height/action

This may give others an idea of the location, there is a person stood against the wall to the right of the centre green lamp post to give you scale? I dont think 60m would have cleared the trees at the rear - Ps what did you see from the camera before you lost signal?

59 metres higher than the (unknown) take off point.
Without knowing the launch point, we can't know the drone's height relative to the castle.
The OP has had ages to come back with data that could have easily explained the incident and probably pointed to a likely search area.
It would appear that he's not going to and probably isn't even looking at anyone's responses.
