Im setting up my quad in Betaflight and noticed how hot the DJI Air unit got sitting on the bench while the setup was happening. I guess i should run a fan over it while setting up quads ??
Anyone else notice this ?

Hey, i think its normal when u have battery plugged in and testing motors in betaflight. Air unit needs air flow when u will be outside air unit will be ok ..

I have the same problem. It's surprisingly hot in power-limited mode. But there was no problem during the actual flight. I have been flying more than 200 times so far.

Also don't fly too many lipos in succession let the air module cool down on time ... because then the air module goes into safety mode and you have a frozen image in flight.

How long do you have to wait between lipos?

until it cools down maybe 5-10 minutes is more than enough.. but weather is freezing right now might need 1 minute to cool down

At 15V, I was hitting 1.2 A during update, 0.7 during normal use.  That's a lot of power.  I'm using a heavy fan and heat-sinks to keep cool

Waiting between flights is only necessary if you have limited air flow to your air unit during flight. Mine never gets hots (always less than 35 degress after flight) so no need for waiting.

I had the same problem with my dji module but when I was trying to activate it and it over headed on me while updating and shut off. Now it won't let me try again even after cooling if won't connect to my computer anymore. Please help!
