I am 40 years old - have been recently laid off from the company I worked for. For the past 15 years, I was working at a call centre that had a UK contract, the client was a bank that forwards its customer's queries to us. I started off as a low-key office boy then worked my way to become the manager of the unit. After the recession hit - our client went bankrupt and there was no reason for our company to exist. I suddenly went from being a manager to being unemployed. My wife became our only source of income, the economy being so slugging, it was extremely difficult for me to get a new job.

It's not a recession for everyone.  It just means people have moved their business decisions elsewhere and those areas they've gone to do not have the recession.

For everyone wondering if the mini can survive a crash without prop guards. Yes it can. I crashed mine onto a solid metal wall without propeller guards in sport mode at full velocity. Battery flew off but it did not break. Works absolutely fine albeit some few cosmetic scratches. Thanks DJI for a solid, well built drone worth the money.

The mavic mini is pretty cool, and seems very tough.  I'm more of a bigger drone fan. But this kinda makes me want one, knowing it's that we'll built. Anyone have a Phantom 3? I have a P3 4k, just got it a couple weeks ago. And was hoping someone could help me with the drifting problem. And return home, always lands about 6-8 feet away from the take off point. . I always calibrate the compass, and tried a IMU calibration already.

How many dollars is pounds?

Eventually, tech would make everyone know everything but the world may not end as there is water on Mars.  Probably for humans to go or for new life to spawn in a million years when the sun gets bigger and Earth takes the place of Venus distance wise.  There will always be unfortunate ones though, levels irrelevant.  There is only so much that can be done.

Good test, about the same thing I did except I did not try fast head on into wall.  What mode was it in for the head on?  Do you know what speed?
