Hi guys. Can anyone please confirm whether the grey Altitude Zones limits the hight of your flight to the specified amount, wither above ground level or above the airport runway?
I have work next week on a hill in an Altidude Zone and I am concerned I may not be able to take off at all without doing a Custom Unlockings.

With the DJI consumer aircraft, the altitude measurement is taken using a simple barometer device, they do not use the GPS altitude due to the inherent innacuracy of GPS altitude measurements. The barometer is zeroed at launch, so the display simply shows your altitude above the point at which you launched.  The aircraft has no knowledge at all of height relative to a runway or otherwise.
