There are many that they offer; some are called 'rotations, dissolves' which are the ones I've used. Remember these can also be manipulated right on the FCPX platform which is what I tend to do.  In other words, you can also create your own unique transition.

FCPX has tons of different things you can do when editing but it just takes time to learn all the capabilities it has to offer.  Even after countless hours on it, I'm still learning.
