Just got my phantom three pro today in the mail. Tried setting everything up and all is well until powering on the remote. I push the power button and no lights will turn on. I charge the battery and I can hear a noise like it's trying to charge. But remote wont power on. Anybody else have this issue or know what to do. I love DJI trying to say they have 24/7 support. Im sure my email will be returned in a week. Think Im just going to return it on amazon. POS

Did you charge the remote ? Could take up to 6 hrs to charge . IF YES Press the button on the remote , release the press the button again . Does it power on now ?

Do you realise it's a two-step button like the Phantom battery switch?
Press and release followed by press and hold.

He is correct.  Press, then release and press and hold.  It will power.

I just received my phantom 3 4K and is experiencing the same issues, i charged the battery and that went OK, but the remote/controller does not seem to response; it does not light up when the charger is plugged in or when the power-up sequence is preformed.
I see online where folks are are opening the controller and unplugging the battery etc.., but at this point i am unwilling to do that , is there any other advise that may help?


The unit was purchased NEW through AMAZON.

You should return to Amazon for an exchange.
