The CHINA model conforms to SRRC instead of FCC.

We see the same model number but with a lower signal power level:

MT1SS5
5.8 GHz: <30 dBm (FCC); <28 dBm (SRRC)

What I got from other posts here, for a FCC version:
- It is LEGAL to BRING the drone with you anywhere except some regions with a "no-carry" policy.
- It is LEGAL to FLY in 5.8GHz compatible regions regardless of their regulations(CE/FCC/SRRC),
- BUT power level will lower to the regional standard.

QUESTIONS:
- Do statements above also apply to China's SRRC Mini?
- Does the power rise up to the FCC level when it's brought to the US?

The "China SRRC Mini" is the FCC Mini with a different power output for FCC-countries (30 dBm) and China (28dBm)

So you can expect that in China you have automatic (by GPS) the lower "FCC-specs", SRRC =  28dBm, in the US the "full FCC-power", 30dBm, and in other countries the castrated CE-max output (14 dBm)

Actually, looking at the numbers, the Spark got just 28 in FCC, and 26 in SRRC.
Changes? Or wrong documented?

Straight to the point, thank you very much. I was thinking although they are the same hardware, there could be a software lock. Anyway that is good to hear.

Before the Mavic Mini, you know, there was every Mavic Pro, Air, Mavic 2, the Spark a FCC/SRCC/CE/MIC - Drone.
Changing to the needed (legal) power output by GPS-data

The Mini is just 2 setups.
One, that never extends the CE power output and can do 2.4 GHz AND 5.8 GHz (worldwide in the CE-limits)
and the other, that can do the higher FCC/SRCC output just in 5.8 GHz.
And will lower that to CE-range in non SRCC/FCC countries.

Hello and good day MingPang. Thank you for reaching out and for the inquiry. Currently, the DJI Mavic Mini does not have a separate SRRC version. When using the FCC version of the DJI Mavic Mini in an SRRC area, DJI Fly will adjust the RF specifications according to the country code to follow the local regulations. Have a safe and a happy flying always.

Does that mean regardless the mini is purchased in the US or in China,  if it's flying in place like Hong Kong , theoretically they shall generate the same flight distance
